We’re in the home stretch to the starting line!
Here are the answers to the questions on everyone’s mind……….
Why are you expanding now?
We opened in October of 2008 and have seen steady growth since day one. We currently are on pace to max out our existing 5 rooms in the next three months. Balance’s goal of offering accessible massage therapy means that we need to have space for you to be able to get in to see your therapist whenever you need.
Are you expanding in the same location?
Yes. 5155 Plymouth Rd will still be our address. We are adding on right next to our current location. We’re adding 5 more massage rooms for clients and a large break room for our hard working team. We also will be adding on to the lobby and expanding the new space by 6 feet. We are working to make sure the BMT experience continues to be the best one in Ann Arbor!
How does the build out affect me?
During the build out process you will see a lot of activity around Balance. We are having them create the new space (w/ sound proofing) before we break through the walls.
We are installing a water fountain that has a water bottle refill station. We will no longer be handing out water bottles after each visit. We will, however, be giving BMT water bottles to our repeat clients for their use.
We are going to be adding another member to our amazing front desk team. We will have someone dedicated to making sure when you arrive you are greeted and your therapist is informed you are there. They also will be available for any questions or needs you may have before your massage. When your massage is complete you’ll visit with our front desk team to check out and rebook. We are hoping to add another layer of amazing client service to your visit.
And finally the most important piece of this is making sure when you call you can get in to see a therapist that day. We currently are turning away clients each day. When we say “We’ve Got Your Back” – we want you to know we mean it!
